Sources of Funding

Leighton Buzzard Voluntary Patient Transport (LBVPT) is a voluntary organisation and relies on grants and client donations to cover operating costs.

LBVPT has received grants and donations from the following sources.

The Amateurs Trust, a small local charitable trust, gave a grant of £1500 to help establish LBVPT.

Leighton -Linslade Town Council provided a grant of £250 towards set up costs. The Town Council has contributed a further £250 toards running costs.

All Saints Church Luncheon Club gave a donation of £150 towards operating costs.

The panel of Central Bedfordshire Council's inspring grant scheme awarded LBVPT a grant of £400 towards the cost of purchasing items to assist clients to and from hospital.
